General Application Information

Financial Aid, Services & Aliyah Processing Application:
In addition to receiving NBN’s full range of services and Aliyah processing, funding will be provided for those whose grant application is accepted by the NBN Review Committee**.

Services & Aliyah Processing Application (No Financial Assistance Needed):
Applicants requesting non-financial assistance & Aliyah processing (services only) are encouraged to join an NBN flight to benefit from the expedited government processing, however they may also make their own flight arrangements at any time and avail themselves of our services.
Priority for funding and flight placement will be given to completed applications received by the original deadline. Applications must be received and approved prior to making Aliyah in order to be eligible for assistance. Grants are awarded for the calendar year in which you originally apply to make Aliyah, and do not carry over into subsequent calendar years.

Eligibility for Financial Assistance:

Applicants for financial assistance must be citizens of either the United States or Canada.

Financial assistance is awarded to individuals or families based on financial need. Applicants that are assessed to have sufficient funds for Aliyah will not be awarded financial assistance. If you are unsure whether or not you have sufficient funds to be considered ineligible for financial assistance, feel free to contact to Rabbi Fass directly via email (yfass@nbn.org.il) before starting the application process.

  • Applicants must currently reside in the United States or Canada.

  • Individuals who are residing in Israel on either tourist, A1A, or student visas are eligible for financial assistance.

  • Applicants will be approved for financial assistance only after being approved for Aliyah by the Jewish Agency.

  • Both singles and families are eligible for financial assistance.

  • Applicant must have had prior experience in Israel (preferably a pilot trip within two
    years of Aliyah).
